CONFIDENTIALITY
Confidentiality is an essential part of all counselling and therapy. The Therapy Practice holds all records securely and will ensure confidentiality in the treatment of any information held about its clients, All information recorded and held is solely for the purpose of maintaining effective therapeutic treatment.
ANTI DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Our Therapy Practice is strongly committed to anti-discrimination. It values difference and diversity and does not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender and gender identity, sexual preference or orientation, marital/partnership status, religion, race, color, national origin, disability, heritage or political belief.
CANCELATION AND INVOICE
If for any reason you are unable to attend your appointment please let us know as soon as possible. The required notice for cancellation is one day (24 hours) prior to your appointment. Where there is less notice of cancellation or if you do not attend your appointment you will be charged the full fee. With adequate advanced notice, where possible, you may be offered an alternative appointment.
You will be given as much advance notice as possible in terms of the holidays or needing to cancel your appointment for any other reason. We invoice retrospectively and kindly ask clients to pay their invoice within the mentioned due date listed on the invoice.
PERSONAL ACCESS
Clients can access their records by making a verbal or written request. Clients agreement and consent will be sought for the purpose of communication related to their therapy arrangement.
PAYMENT AND PAYMENT METHODS
Payment is normally due at the end of each session, or paid in advance for a set number of sessions. For direct payments we only offer cash payment or credit card payment upon request. For payments in advance and combined payments we also offer different payment methods. If you are unable to attend your appointment please let us know as soon as possible. The required notice for cancellation is 24 hours prior to your appointment. Where there is less notice, or if you fail to attend your appointment, the full fee will be charged. We hope clients appreciate that it is rarely possible to fill these appointments at such short notice which is why we are obliged to charge for the Therapist’s time.
If you receive therapy in combination with a physical therapy, nutritional consultation or massage therapy doctors referral, we strongly advise to receive a pre authorization from your health insurance provider, doctor patient manager. For therapy sessions received, provided and billed in combination with a therapy referral we do bill our patients directly. To use the option of a direct billing arrangement you have to seek approval by contacting us and receive a confirmation beforehand.
